5C’s for GenZ kids

5C’s for GenZ kids
As per the statistics revealed by Wikipedia 50% of Indian population is below the age of 25 which is best in the world. We claim to be the young country in terms of future workforce. It is imperative to understand that half of Indian population is studying in schools therefore it is gargantuan task for the educators and school leaders to train and develop these priceless Human Resources.
There are 5C’s viz confidence, caring & compassion, career consciousness, commitment and competence which every Indian children must have in them.
1). Confidence: This is preliminary trait which every student must posses to grow up as a resourceful National asset. Teachers must try to inculcate, I can do attitude among students. Future kids must be aware that life will throw challenges and they must be nurtured to take it on. Their self belief mechanism must be very strong.
2). Career Conciousness: Life is a blessing. We get only one life to live, therefore, there must be a purpose of life. There is no denying the fact that in prevailing scenario there are ample career avenues but irony is that GEN Z kids have no perception of life. Majority of the students don’t do any research about their careers. Till their 20’s they have no idea what they are born to be. Schools and parents must assess the strength, interest and skills of a child then they must be guided to chase the passion. Career Counselling sessions should start at the early childhood.
3). Caring & compassionate: Modernisation and advancement of western culture has hi jacked our youth. Our social fibre is becoming weak. The mad race to accumulate every materialistic possession has eroded the values like ethics, compassion, morality. These are left only for reading in books. Furthermore, with the advent of gadgets family connect is at the brink of annihilation. Our youth is very amiable but only with their peer. When it comes to parents they are disgruntled. Parents must be given due respect loved and accepted like girl friend and boy friend. Hence, we have to shoulder this responsibility also.
4). Commitment: This is a basic ingredient for being a successful human being. Steadfastness for the purpose should be on the bed rocks of an individual. Commitment in relationships, commitment towards work is necessitated. Teachers and family should collectively foster this quality among youth. Live in relationship is a recent menace. This is gaining popularity as it is easy to stay together without getting committed with each other for whole life. Having crush and then break up is a way of life because to maintain relationships patience and perseverance is required which Gen Z is bad at. In the absence of commitment the connect with anything is not possible.
5). Competent: If India has to be a super power to take on the world, then we need to have best researchers, entrepreneurs, leaders, scholars, teachers, scientists, philosophers, players, bureaucrats. We being the most young nation in the world should have army of competent workforce. This hurricane transformation is only possible when every child is equipped and trained with latest skills and technology.
Every thing is possible for a person with right attitude possessing right skills having his eyes set on right goal.
